Yellow Brick Road

Introducing an amazing new collaboration from Growing Pains Scrapped, The Scrappy Kat and Mommy Me Time Scrapper called, Yellow Brick Road. Have you ever stared at a rainbow and just knew there was something special waiting for you on the other side? A yellow brick road perhaps, leading you to fun and adventure? This kit reminds me of the special time, every year when we would sit down in front of the tv and follow Dorothy and Toto into the magical land of Oz. No matter how many times you may have seen the movie, there is something special there that makes it like the first time. As each generation introduces Oz to the next it keeps the magic alive. This kit has every single element you need to scrap about your adventures into Oz and beyond. Stunning papers are fun and whimsical and can really be used in any layout, with Oz or without. The pieces in this collab are versatile enough for any type of scrapping you may try, from traditional to fantasy. Pick this collaboration up today!

Argh–Legend of the Captain is here!

Pirates - somehow they are very creepy looking but also a little bit sexy at times. You know who I'm taking about - that handsome scoundrel Captain Jack Sparrow. There are so many awesome Pirates Of The Caribbean movies where you can watch all his crazy antics and sword fighting. Kelly's new collection today is a tribute to Captain Jack Sparrow and the new pirate themed Treasures Of The Seven Seas treasure hunt in the Magic Kingdom.
Argh! Isn't she a beauty?
This kit is filled with lots of amazing pirate elements including sword, pirate ship, rum jug, bottle of sand, ropes, cannon, cannon balls, telescope, pirate flag, frames, sand dollar, pistol, wood signs, compass, pirate hats, flowers, banner, treasure chest, pirate skulls and much more.
Kelly also has sets of word art, page starters and paper stacks to make your scrapping go much faster. These are expertly clustered and beautiful!
You can find all of Kelly's collection at the Kellybell Designs Store. This collection is priced at 25% off this weekend only. So make sure you place it in your shopping cart soon!
Pirates are a great theme and they make a really fun character to dress up as for Halloween and costume parties. Most every little boy has been a pirate wielding their swords around for Halloween. There's great pictures around the Disney parks to use this kit for. Here's a page that I made.

More fun from Kellybell designs

Every layout is special. Each page documents some very special memories and shows off precious photos. But one layout, the cover page can be tricky to get right. When you're creating an album or printing a photo book, this is the page that you and everyone else is going to see first. It's the page that will get viewed the most. It's the page that everyone struggles with because you want it to be as magical as the trip was.
This week Kelly has 2 new sets of creative cover embellishments Cover Story Vol 6 and 7. Complete with photo masks and pixie dust each set has the tools to really make those cover pages pop!
Kelly has also added more templates perfect for cover pages or pocket scrapping. They come with PSD, TIF, PNG and PAGE files so they can be used by several scrapbooking programs.

Oh So Goofy–by Kellybell Designs

Goofy is probably one of the funniest characters to meet. First of all, he's extremely tall and lanky. It's fun to "look up" to him. He's got that tall silly hat he wears. That will make you giggle. He's usually dressed in some pretty funky outfits and colors. There's not much you don't like about him. Plus he's featured in 2 rides. Barnstormer at Walt Disney World and Goofy's Sky School in Disneyland. Both are super fun roller coaster rides. Today's collection from Kellybell Designs is inspired by this silly goofy character. Take a look at today's new release.
This kit is packed with bright fun colors with papers containing polka dots, stars, striped and wavy lines. Inside you'll find a ticket book, banners, airplane, goggles, altimeter, steering wheel, bulls eye, word tags, circus tent, roller coaster, flairs, flowers, propeller, ticket, flags, clouds, signs, cannon and much more.
Kelly has coordinating packs of word art, page starters and paper stacks. All beautifully clustered and arranged for you.
You can find this Oh So Goofy collection inside Kellybell Designs Store. This collection is priced at 25% off this weekend only.

June blog challenge by Kellybell Designs

School is coming to a close. Time to start thinking about summer vacations and planning for some family fun time. One of the more important decisions to make in your trip planning ..... is where are you going to stay? These are so many amazing resort choices at the Disney resorts. It's almost too hard to pick! This month's blog challenge theme at Kellybell Designs is all about the resorts.

Take a look at this amazing pack of journal cards that CT member Jenn has created for you. Everyone who submits a layout will receive this participation prize. Wow, these participation prizes are getting better and better. Makes you want to keep playing, doesn't it?

Here are the rules and instructions to participation in the Monthly Blog Challenge:
  • Scrap a page about having fun at a Disney resort or neighboring hotel. This can be photos from your room, pool fun, dining or character meals, room views, etc.
  • Use as many photos as you'd like.
  • Use as many elements and papers as you'd like.
  • While the instructions are written for Walt Disneyworld, please adapt them for any of the other Disney parks around the world.
  • Layouts should be made with 100% Kellybell products or freebies (you are allowed to use a template from another designer). You are welcome to submit more than 1 layout.
  • Post your layout into the Challenges Gallery at Kellybell Designs by midnight EST June 30. Participation prizes will be sent to the email address you have listed with Kelly's gallery so make sure you're registered and logged in before posting your layout.
The random winner of a store gift certificate will be announced the first week of July. That's also when the participation prizes will be sent out.

For scrapping your Resort Fun layout, here's a few kits that might spark your inspiration.

So many great kits to choose from. Here is a page that I made for the Resort Fun blog challenge.
